Travel agency accounting software with a real general ledger
Most travel software keeps a cash log and calls it accounting. That is fine until an auditor, a partner or a bank asks a question the cash log cannot answer: what do we own, what do we owe, and did we actually make money last month. Agency Automation BD keeps proper double-entry books, produced automatically from the work the agency is already doing.
A chart of accounts, per agency
A standard chart is ready on day one — assets, liabilities, equity, income, cost of sales and expenses, numbered the way an accountant here expects. Agencies add their own accounts freely; the software posts by an account's role, never by its number, so renumbering to suit an auditor breaks nothing.
Every transaction posts itself
Invoices, client payments, ticket costs, vendor payments, refunds, voids, expenses, transfers and salaries all post to the ledger as they happen. Nobody keys a journal entry for ordinary trading.
- Trial Balance that proves debits equal credits
- Balance Sheet with profit for the period, no year-end closing routine to remember
- Profit & Loss covering every vertical, not just ticketing
- General Ledger showing the document behind each line
Dues you can chase and payables you can trust
A client's balance and a vendor's payable are all-time positions taken from the ledger, not a figure filtered by whatever dates were on screen. Client credit limits sit on top of the same numbers, with alerts before a limit is passed rather than after.
Questions agencies ask
- Is this real double-entry accounting or just reports?
- Real double-entry. Every posting is a balanced pair of entries in a general ledger, and the software refuses a posting that does not balance. The reports read those rows rather than re-adding the source tables, which is why they always agree with each other.
- Can our accountant work with it?
- Yes. The chart of accounts, trial balance, general ledger, balance sheet and P&L are the statements they already work from, and every report downloads as PDF and CSV.
- Does it handle more than one currency?
- Yes. Entries carry their document's currency and balance within it, and statements are produced per currency — no invented exchange rate is applied to make one total.
